Columbus Fleet Towing Accounts for Company Cars, Vans and Pickups

Company vehicles reach the shop you pick on a flatbed, with photos at both ends of the trip and a single invoice when the month closes.

  • Open 24/7, 365 days
  • Flatbed-only fleet
  • Price quoted before dispatch
  • Licensed & insured

Fleet towing for Columbus businesses works best when nobody on your team has to hunt for a phone number or chase a receipt. Auto Lyft USA gives each business account one dispatch line that is answered around the clock, a driver who photographs the vehicle when it goes onto the deck and again when it comes off, and a monthly invoice in place of a card payment at every breakdown. Your employee calls, describes the problem and gets on with the workday while we deal with the vehicle.

Our four light-duty flatbed carriers suit the vehicles most local fleets actually run: sales sedans, service pickups, cargo and passenger vans, rental cars, and motor-pool cars for agencies and nonprofits. Everything rides on the deck, so a van with a slipping transmission or an all-wheel-drive crossover reaches the shop without extra wear. When a unit is larger than a light-duty carrier should handle, such as a loaded box truck, we set it up through partner operators and keep the job on your account so the records stay together.

Lisa Peer opened Auto Lyft USA in 2024 at 1620 Harrisburg Pike, southwest of downtown and minutes from I-70, I-71 and the I-270 outerbelt. To start an account, call (614) 633-8163 or write to lisa@autolyftusa.online, and the office will explain approval, account pricing and how your drivers should request a truck.

When to call

Situations where fleet towing accounts is the right call

  • Service vans stuck mid-route

A plumbing, HVAC or electrical van that dies between appointments goes to your preferred shop, and the technician can catch a ride with a coworker instead of waiting on the curb.

  • Sales and territory cars

Reps who cover Central Ohio break down in client parking lots and on the outerbelt. They dial one number rather than searching for whoever is nearby.

  • Rental and car-share units

Cars with warning lights, flat tires or body damage are pulled from the lot and dropped at the mechanical or collision shop on your approved list.

  • Last-mile delivery vans

Light-duty vans based in the Rickenbacker and Groveport warehouse parks can be moved to the shop overnight, so the repair starts with the first shift.

  • Planned shop runs

Not every move is a breakdown. We can carry a unit in for a recall, an inspection or new tires, then bring it back to your lot when the work is finished.

  • Trucks above light duty

Box trucks and heavier units are handled through partners our dispatcher books for you. The medium-duty towing page explains how those calls run.

On scene

How our drivers handle it

  1. Account setup

The office records your billing contact, approved shops, the people allowed to request service and any unit-number or purchase-order rules your company follows.

  2. Your driver calls in

Whoever is with the vehicle phones dispatch, gives the company name and unit number, and describes where it is parked and what failed.

  3. Photos at both ends

The operator photographs every side of the vehicle and the odometer at pickup, repeats the set at drop-off, and files the images with that job.

  4. One monthly invoice

Approved accounts get a single bill each month listing every job by date, unit, pickup point and destination, which makes reconciling quick.

Details we can put on every job line

Each fleet has its own reporting habits. Let the office know what your accounting or maintenance team expects to see, and it goes on the paperwork for every tow.

  • Unit number, plate or last six of the VIN.
  • Purchase-order or work-order number, if your company issues them.
  • Name of the employee who requested the tow.
  • Pickup address and the shop that received the vehicle.
  • Time the call came in and time the vehicle was dropped.
  • A reference to the pickup and drop-off photo set.

Where company vehicles in Central Ohio tend to stall

Plenty of business vehicles here spend the day on I-71 between downtown and Polaris, on I-270 near the Hilliard and Dublin interchanges, or inside the distribution campuses around Rickenbacker and Groveport. Our yard on US-62 sits minutes from the junction of I-70 and I-71, so our carriers can get onto the outerbelt heading either way without crossing downtown.

We also pick up company cars parked at employees' homes in the suburbs, from Grove City and Hilliard out to Westerville and Reynoldsburg. Every town we cover is listed on the service areas page.

Fleet Towing Accounts: questions and answers

What comes with a fleet towing account?

You get around-the-clock dispatch on one number, flatbed transport to the shop you name, photos of each vehicle at pickup and at drop-off, and monthly invoicing once your account is approved. You can also hand us a list of approved repair shops and the employees allowed to request a tow, and we will follow it on every call.

How does a business get approved for monthly invoicing?

Reach the office by phone, or send a note to lisa@autolyftusa.online listing your company name, a billing contact and a rough count of the vehicles you run. We review the request and confirm the terms in writing before the first invoice goes out. Until approval comes through, jobs can be paid by card when the service is done.

How are fleet rates set?

The office quotes account pricing before any work begins, based on the kinds of vehicles you run and the distances your units usually travel. Drivers do not make up prices at the roadside. If you want to see the parts that make up a typical tow bill, the rates page lays them out.

Which vehicles can your own trucks carry?

Our four flatbeds are light-duty carriers. They take sedans, SUVs, crossovers, light pickups and cargo or passenger vans that fall inside the deck's weight rating. When your driver calls, the dispatcher asks about weight, length and any racks or ladders on the roof so the right equipment is sent.

What if a unit is too heavy for your flatbeds?

We book a partner with the right truck and keep the job on your account, so your employee still makes only one call. The dispatcher tells you a partner is handling it and passes along that price before the truck is sent, and the job appears on your monthly statement with the rest.

Why do you photograph fleet vehicles?

Company cars change hands a lot, and nobody remembers who put the dent in the tailgate. The pictures taken at pickup and drop-off show the condition of each side and the odometer reading, so if a question about damage or mileage comes up later, both of us have the same record to look at.

Can an employee ride along to the shop?

On short local runs there is normally space for one employee next to our driver. Mention it on the call so the seat is held. If the employee needs to get back to a job site instead, a coworker pickup is often faster than riding to the shop and waiting there.

Can you drop a vehicle at our shop after hours?

Yes, when your shop or in-house garage has a key drop and a safe spot to leave the vehicle. Tell the office about those arrangements during setup. If the shop is closed and there is nowhere to leave it, the vehicle stays at our Harrisburg Pike yard and goes over once the doors open.

Do you only serve fleets inside Columbus city limits?

No. We cover Franklin County and the surrounding towns, from Delaware and Marysville down to Canal Winchester and Lancaster. For a unit that breaks down farther out on a highway trip, call anyway; the dispatcher will tell you whether we can reach it or set up a partner.

Can we schedule moves that aren't emergencies?

Yes, and planned moves are some of the easiest jobs for us. Give the office the unit, the pickup spot, the destination and the day you want it moved, and dispatch builds it into the schedule. That works well for recalls, inspections, upfit appointments and returning repaired vehicles to your lot.

What should our drivers say when they call fleet towing dispatch?

Have them give the company name, unit number, exact location, a callback number and what went wrong in a few words, such as no start, flat tire or collision. If your company uses purchase orders, they should have that number ready too. That is enough for the dispatcher to send a truck.

Do you carry electric company vehicles?

Yes. Electric cars and vans go on the flatbed with every wheel off the ground, which is how most manufacturers want them moved. Let dispatch know it is electric so the driver can ask about transport mode. Our EV towing page covers the details.

Can you help a fleet vehicle without towing it?

Often, yes. A drained battery, keys locked inside or a punctured tire can usually be sorted out where the vehicle sits, which keeps it on the road and off a shop lift. The dispatcher will ask a couple of questions to see whether a service call or a tow makes more sense for that problem.

Who do we contact with a billing question?

Email lisa@autolyftusa.online or call the main number and ask for the office. Include the invoice date and the unit number in question, and we will pull the job record, including the photos, so the answer is based on what actually happened that day.

What fleet towing accounts costs

This work is priced per job because the equipment, distance and time vary so much. Call (614) 633-8163 with the details and the office quotes it before anything is scheduled. See the rates page for our standard charges.

Need fleet towing accounts now?

Someone picks up 24/7, quotes the job, and texts you the driver's name.
