The village of Marble Cliff is wedged between Grandview Heights and Upper Arlington, a little over four miles from our gate on the southwest side. A driver usually heads north through Franklinton toward Fifth Avenue or Dublin Road, which brings the carrier to the edge of the village after a short run. It is small enough that we often find a car by the house number alone.
Calls here are mostly residential. Cambridge Boulevard and Arlington Avenue are lined with older homes, condominium buildings carved from old estates and mature trees, so a lot of what we do is lift a car gently out of a narrow driveway or off a curb without scraping a low bumper. Cambridge Boulevard has a center island and the village has planned a full rebuild of the street, so lane shifts and work zones may change how a truck approaches. The other source of calls is Quarry Trails Metro Park on Dublin Road, where hikers and climbers sometimes return to a dead battery or a car locked with the keys inside.
Marble Cliff has no commercial strip of its own, which means many residents send their car to a shop in Grandview, Upper Arlington or farther afield. We carry it wherever you choose, and every car rides on a flatbed. Phone (614) 633-8163 or use the request page to get a quote and an arrival estimate.
Where calls come from
Roads we get called to in Marble Cliff
Cambridge Boulevard
The island-divided main residential street, with the Monaco fountain on the median. A planned reconstruction may bring temporary closures and detours.
Arlington Avenue
A main village street with apartment and condominium buildings where cars are parked close together, so we may need to winch rather than drive a car out.
West Fifth Avenue
The busy road along the north side of the village, with traffic moving between Grandview, Upper Arlington and the river.
Dublin Road
Runs past Quarry Trails Metro Park toward the river and the US-33 corridor, carrying fast through traffic past the park entrance.
Riverside Drive (US-33)
The river road that turns into Dublin Road farther south, often how our carriers reach the village from the north side.

Parks
- Quarry Trails Metro Park
Built in the old limestone quarry that named the village, it opened in 2021; its parking lots are a frequent spot for lockouts and no-starts.
- Paul J. Falco Park
One of the two parks the village owns, open early morning to late evening, with only street parking nearby.
Landmarks
- Frank G. Monaco Fountain
The fountain on the Cambridge Boulevard median is a handy marker when you are describing your location to the dispatcher.
- Casparis Castle
A surviving carriage-house tower from a quarry owner's estate, now part of the #10 Arlington condominiums; resident parking there is close-quarters.
- Prescott Place
A quarry-stone former mansion converted into condominiums, where tight shared drives call for slow, careful loading.
- First Community Church south campus
Its Cambridge Boulevard building includes a child development center, so drop-off and pickup hours bring a burst of traffic.
- Our Lady of Victory Church
A Romanesque Revival parish on Roxbury Road whose weekend services fill the adjacent blocks with parked cars.
Schools
- Grandview Heights City Schools
The district that serves Marble Cliff's students; the high school on West Third Avenue is a short drive south.
Towing in Marble Cliff: common questions
How do your tow trucks reach Marble Cliff?
Measured in a straight line, the village sits about four and a half miles from our gate, a little west of due north. Drivers generally go north through Franklinton and then along Fifth Avenue or Dublin Road to reach Marble Cliff's streets. The trip is short, but downtown traffic and work zones can change it, so the dispatcher gives you an up-to-date estimate when you call.
Will the Cambridge Boulevard rebuild affect a tow?
It might. The village has planned a full reconstruction of Cambridge Boulevard with new water lines, storm sewers and crosswalks. While that work is underway, lanes may be narrowed or closed. If you live on the boulevard, tell us where the nearest open access point is, and the driver will find a way to reach your driveway without entering the work area.
My car will not start in the Quarry Trails parking lot. Can you come?
Yes. Quarry Trails has several parking areas, so name the entrance road or trailhead nearest your car, plus its color and model. Most problems after a hike are a battery drained by an interior light or keys locked in the car, and both are usually sorted out right beside the car. When a tow really is needed, the carrier backs up and loads in the lot itself.
Can a flatbed get into the condominium drives on Arlington Avenue?
Often the truck stays on the street, and the driver uses the winch to pull the car out to the carrier. Shared drives at older buildings like the #10 Arlington or Prescott Place can be narrow with stone walls close by, so we take it slowly. Let us know about any gates or low overhangs before the driver arrives.
Do you tow classic or low cars from Marble Cliff garages?
Yes. Some village residents keep older or collector cars, and the flatbed is the right way to move them. The driver uses low-angle ramps or wood blocks so the front lip does not drag, and secures the car by its wheels instead of the frame where possible. See our low-profile towing page for more.
Is a Marble Cliff tow expensive?
Not usually, because the short drive from our yard trims the mileage charge. What moves the figure is the destination you pick, whether you call at 2 a.m. or 2 p.m., and extra steps such as winching from a tight drive. You will know the exact amount before any driver is assigned; you can read how pricing works on our rates page.
Where should I have my car taken if I live in Marble Cliff?
Wherever you trust. Because the village has no auto shops of its own, many residents use a mechanic in Grandview, Upper Arlington or Hilliard, or their dealer elsewhere in Columbus. If the shop is not open when we get there, we can store the car at our yard overnight and deliver it once the shop opens.
Do you also serve Grandview Heights and Upper Arlington?
Yes, constantly. Marble Cliff shares a school district with Grandview Heights and borders Upper Arlington to the north, so our drivers pass through all three towns many times a week. Grandview Heights has its own page covering Grandview Avenue and Grandview Yard. Whichever side of the line your car is on, the process and the phone number stay exactly the same.
