Bridge Park is Dublin's newer, walkable district on the east bank of the Scioto River, packed with apartments, offices, restaurants and bars, and tied to Historic Dublin on the opposite bank by the Dublin Link, the curved pedestrian bridge that opened in 2020. Much of the parking is tucked into structured garages, which shapes almost every call we get there.
Visitors usually call us after an evening out: a car that won't start after sitting in a cool garage, or keys locked in the trunk after someone strolled over the river to Historic Dublin and back. Residents tend to call for slower problems, like a second car that sat untouched for weeks and drained its battery, or an EV that needs to reach a service center.
Auto Lyft USA handles Bridge Park towing and roadside work 24 hours a day with flatbed carriers only. That matters in a district full of newer cars, electric vehicles and the occasional low-slung sports car, none of which should be dragged on two wheels. You'll get a quote and a live arrival estimate before we roll.
Working inside Bridge Park's garages
Structured parking is convenient for people and awkward for tow trucks. Before we dispatch a flatbed into a garage, we want to know the posted height limit at the entrance, which level the car is on, and whether the ramps are tight. If you can, snap a photo of the clearance sign and text it to the dispatcher.
For a dead battery or a lockout, the truck rarely needs to go inside at all. The driver parks at street level and carries a portable jump pack or entry tools to your car. If the car does need a tow and the flatbed can't reach your level, we'll discuss safe options, such as starting it long enough to drive down to an open spot. Our parking garage towing page explains the process.
EVs, hybrids and low cars
Electric cars are common around Dublin's newer districts, and they need different handling. Most manufacturers want an EV carried fully on a deck rather than rolled behind a truck, and a 12-volt battery that goes flat can leave the whole car unresponsive even when the main pack is charged. A driver can often jump the 12-volt system to wake the car up so it can be shifted into neutral or transport mode.
EV tows use their own published rates: $2.50 per mile en-route, $150 to hook up, $7.50 per loaded mile, and $75 a day if the car has to wait in our yard. Low-clearance cars get ramp extensions or extra care on the deck angle; let us know about a lowered front splitter before we arrive. See EV towing and low-profile towing for more.
- Have the car's key card or phone key handy; some EVs won't shift without it.
- Tell the dispatcher the make and model so the driver brings the right gear.
- If the car still has power, check the owner's manual for a tow or transport mode.
A car that sat for weeks
Residents who travel, work from home or keep a second car often find a battery has drained after weeks without a drive. Modern cars draw a small current even when switched off, and a garage spot doesn't protect against that. A jump usually brings the car back, but a battery that has been run completely flat may not recover; in that case we can test it and fit a new one on site.
After a jump, drive the car for at least half an hour on roads that let it run steadily, rather than a short loop, so the alternator has a chance to recharge the battery.
What Bridge Park calls cost
Gas and diesel cars use our standard rates: $75 flat for a jump, lockout, tire change or battery call, $125 to hook up a tow plus $7 per loaded mile, and $4 per mile en-route from our yard. Weekend and overnight surcharges apply as listed on the rates page. Use the estimate tool to price a trip to your shop or dealer.
Bridge Park, Dublin: what drivers ask
Do you offer Bridge Park towing out of the parking garages?
Yes, when the garage allows it. Garages have posted height limits and tight ramps, so we always ask for the clearance and the level before sending a flatbed in. If the truck can't fit, the driver will look for a way to get the car to an accessible level safely. Jump-starts and lockouts don't require the truck to enter, which makes them simpler.
My EV is showing a dead screen in a Bridge Park garage. What now?
Often the high-voltage battery is fine and the 12-volt battery is the problem. Many EVs depend on that small battery to unlock, wake up and shift. A driver can usually jump the 12-volt system, which brings the car back to life long enough to drive it out or put it in transport mode for a flatbed tow. Tell the dispatcher the make and model when you call.
I walked across the Dublin Link and lost my keys. Can you help?
If the keys are truly lost rather than locked inside, we can't make a new key. What we can do is tow the car to a dealer or a locksmith who can program a replacement, or to your home if you have a spare there. If the keys are visible inside the car, it's a standard lockout at our $75 flat roadside rate plus mileage.
Will a flatbed damage my lowered car?
It shouldn't, as long as we know about the clearance ahead of time. Flatbeds are the right tool for low cars because nothing drags. The driver can use ramp extensions or adjust the deck angle, and tire straps hold the car down by its wheels rather than its suspension. Tell the dispatcher about front splitters, side skirts or a lowered ride height.
Can you tow my car from Bridge Park to a Dublin shop?
Yes. A short trip to a shop elsewhere in Dublin keeps loaded miles low. The car goes wherever you direct, or we can suggest an independent partner shop that diagnoses the problem and sends you a quote before starting work. We aren't a repair shop, so we have no stake in where your car is serviced.
Is there an extra charge for Bridge Park because of the garages?
No. We don't add a venue or garage fee. You pay the same published rates as any other call: the service, the mileage from our yard, and any weekend, overnight, or large-vehicle surcharge that applies. If the job requires a winch to pull a car out of a tight spot, that's billed at $150 an hour, and the dispatcher will mention it upfront.
My car sat in my apartment garage for a month. Can you just jump it?
Usually, yes. A jump is a $75 flat roadside call plus en-route mileage. A battery that has been fully drained for a long time may not recover even after a jump, so the driver will test it. A battery that fails the test can be swapped for a new one right in the garage, or tow the car if something else is wrong.
How late can I call for help in Bridge Park?
Any hour. Our dispatch line is answered around the clock, every day of the year. Calls from 10 PM to 6 AM carry a $150 overnight surcharge, which the dispatcher includes in your quote. If the car is parked somewhere safe and you'd rather avoid the surcharge, you can schedule the call for the morning instead.
Stuck somewhere right now?
A dispatcher answers day and night and prices your Bridge Park call before a truck moves.
